The post stitch star at the top of this hat is inspired by the compass as a celestial navigation guide. The unique post stitch shells create interesting vertical texture along the walls and the edging blends them together beautifully.

What you will need:

• 170.7 (187.8, 206.5, 227.2, 249.7) yds or 156.1 (171.7, 188.8, 207.7, 228.3)m #3 dk weight yarn
• G/6 (4mm) crochet hook, or size needed to obtain gauge.
• Yarn needle
• Scissors
