Precious Bliss Hooded Cowl Knit Pattern

This hooded cowl knit pattern is a super simple knitting pattern that delivers an extraordinarily beautiful and functional accessory. It is easy to make, can be worn in multiple ways, and couldn’t be any softer or cozier if you tried. The edging allows the fabric to drape across the shoulders and frame the face beautifully. And the hood can be worn up or down, with drawstring for extra coziness. The slip stitch color change detail is really unique but can be omitted if you prer to make this a one-color project.

What you will need:

• 284 yds (260m) #5 bulky weight yarn total, 142 yds ea in 2 colors shown
• US10.5 (6.5mm) circular knitting needles, 24 in cord length
• H/8 (5mm) crochet hook
• stitch markers
• scissors
• yarn needle

Shown in:

Knit Picks Yarns Wonderfluff; 70% Baby Alpaca, 7% Merino Wool, 23% Nylon #5 bulky weight yarn; 142 yds per 50g ball; color A (turquoise heather) and color B (larkspur heather), 1 ball each.

Gauge: 12 sts / = 20 rounds in (10cm) in stockinette stitch pattern after blocking.

Finished Size: 24 in (61cm) circumference x 19 in (48cm) tall

Stitch Guide: Cast on (CO), bind off (BO), yarn over (yo), knit (k),  purl (p), slip slip knit (ssk), knit 2 together (k2tog), slip 1 purlwise (sl1), and slip 2 purlwise, k1, pass 2 slipped sts over (s2kp).
