Posie Knit Cardi Wrap Vest Pattern by Kristin Omdahl
The Posie Knit Cardi Wrap Vest Pattern is a super simple side-to-side construction knit up quickly with bulk weight yarn. The collar is picked up and knit in the easiest of short row techniques – in garter stitch without the wrap and turn technique.
What you will need to make the Posie Knit Cardi Wrap Vest Pattern:
- 580 yds (530m) #5 bulky weight yarn
and
290 yds (264m) additional yarn for optional sleeves - US 13 (9mm) circular knitting needles to accommodate stitches in rows, 24 in cord length or longer
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
Gauge:
8 sts / 10 rows = 4 in (10cm) in body stitch pattern, after blocking.
Finished Size:
24 in (61cm) long from shoulder to hem.
50 in (127cm) wide from side to side.
8 in (20.3cm) between armholes.
Stitch Guide:
Knit (k), purl (p), cast on (co) and bind off (bo).
