This gorgeous shawl is knit from the top down. Beginning with a burst of flower petals, it trails down into a trellis-like lace pattern and ends with a scalloped lace edging. Inspired by day  dreams of gazing out through the mist and being mesmerized by the textures of the sea.

What you will need:

650 yds (594m) #1 fingering weight yarn

US8 (5mm) circular knitting needle, 32 in (81cm) length or longer to accommodate stitches
