Laurel Baby Blanket Crochet Pattern by Kristin Omdahl
This is an easy to memorize stitch pattern that is crocheted from corner to corner, working an increase section until desired width is achieved, then working a decrease section to the opposite corner. A simple double crochet border frames this delicate floral blanket beautifully.
What you will need:
- 918 yds (1004m) #4 worsted weight yarn
- J/10 (6mm) crochet hook
- Yarn needle
- Stitch markers
- Scissors

Gauge:
10 sts / 6 rows = 4 in (10cm) in double crochet.
Finished Size:
52 in (132)cm square.

Chain (ch), double crochet (dc), double treble crochet (dtr), single crochet (sc), ch3, 2 double crochet cluster (ch3, 2dc-cl), and slip stitch (slst).
2 Double Crochet Cluster (2dc-cl): (Yo, insert hook in indicated st, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through 2 loops on hook)x2, yo and draw through all 3 loops on hook.
Beginning Petal Pair (bpp): Ch10, 2dc-cl (see above) in 4th ch from hook (petal made), ch4, 2dc-cl in 4th ch from hook, slst in between next petal pair of last row.
Petal Pair (pp): (Ch4, 2dc-cl in 4th ch from hook)x2.
