IONA Cardi Wrap Draped Vest Crochet Pattern

The IONA cardi wrap draped vest crochet pattern is such a versatile, all-season layering accessory. It is figure flattering, offers modest coverage and drapes beautifully over any outfit This wrap is constructed in 3 pieces: begin crocheting the shaped back from the top down, and each draped front is crocheted seamlessly from the back shoulders. Corset ties with fringe allow you to adjust the armhole opening by seasons, depending on the thickness of your under layers.

What you will need to make the IONA cardi wrap draped vest crochet pattern:

• 1050 yds (960m) #4 worsted weight yarn
• H/8 (5mm) crochet hook
• Yarn needle
• Scissors

Shown in:

Brava Worsted by Knit Picks Yarn; 100% premium acrylic; 218 yds per 100gm ball; 5 balls color Hunter. Hunter is a dark blue green color with a grey undertone. This rich green can be compared to the lush greens of the forest and as a jewel tone, this gem also works great for men’s projects.

Gauge: 

16 sts / 8 rows = 4 in (10cm) in blocked stitch pattern

Finished Size:

26 in (66cm) length

12 in (30.5cm) wide between shoulders

11 in (27.9cm) armhole openings

21 in (53.3cm) wide fronts

Stitch Guide: 

Chain (ch), foundation oval (fo), double crochet (dc), and single crochet (sc).

Pattern notes: 

Weave in loose ends as work progresses
