This adorable cape is figure flattering and functional with the arm openings. This unique shaped cape is made from two different sizes of half circle starburst shapes for the front and back. The cowl mimics the stitch patttern but worked in the round with gentle increases for volume.

What you will need:

• 1224 yds (1119m) #4 worsted weight yarn
• K/10.5 (6.5mm) crochet hook
• Yarn needle
• Scissors

Be So Vivid Yarn; 70% cotton / 30% acrylic, #4 worsted weight, self striping yarn; 306 yds (280m) per 3.5 oz (100g) ball; shown in color Unicorn Kiss, 4 balls.

Gauge: 

12 sts / 5 rows = 4 in (10cm) in double crochet.

Finished Size:

Capelet is 24 in (61cm) long.

Stitch Guide: 

Chain (ch), slip stitch (slst), double crochet (dc), foundational double crochet (fdc), and single crochet (sc).

Triple Treble Crochet (ttr): Yo 5 times, insert hook in specified st or sp, yo, draw up a loop, (yo, draw through 2 loops on your hoo)x6.

Shell: (2dc, ch2, 2dc) in same st or sp.

Ttr Shell: (2ttr, ch2, 2ttr) in same st or sp.
