Gardenia Crochet Shawl Pattern

The Gardenia Crochet Shawl Pattern is a very adaptable top-down increasing triangular shawl. The main body stitch pattern is a 2-row repeat that is easy to memorize. And the edging has an intricate, scalloped design that blends beuatiuflly with the main body stitch pattern. Use any weight yarn and achieve beautiful results – the pattern has notes for which rows have the right multiple to begin the edging for any sized shawl.

What you will need:

• 690 yds (630m) #1 fingering weight or any weight yarn
• H/8 (5mm) crochet hook or any appropriately sized crochet hook for the yarn you use
• scissors
• yarn needle

Gauge: 

13 sts / 7 rows = 4 in (10cm) in blocked stitch pattern.

Finished Size:

This shawl can be made in any size with any weight yarn.

Stitch Guide: 

Chain (ch), slip stitch (slst), single crochet (sc), double crochet (dc), treble crochet (tr), 3dc-cluster, 3tr-cluster, 7tr-cluster and ch3 picot.
