The Eliana Crochet Dress Pattern is a beautiful juxtaposition of two crochet motifs combined in multiple ways to create an exquisite dress. The larger motif is an 8-petaled flower that adds drama and large scale floral design to the fabric of the skirt. The smaller, 8-petaled flower motif fills in the spaces between the larger motifs in the skirt to fill out the fabric completely. The smaller motif is also pulled from the skirt to create an allover fabric for the top. And the smaller motif is even modified further to create half motifs for cap sleeve shaping. Add a belt to adjust the length of the skirt or blouse up the top. The skirt can be made shorter by adding less rounds of motifs. And the sleeves can be lengthened by adding more rounds of motifs. The skirt and top can be made separately if desired. And the motifs can be combined to create 2-dimensional fabrics for shawls and afghans, too. The possibilities are endless!
