This is a warm and cozy blanket that whips up quickly  with tripled dk weight  yarn. Instructions and yardage estimates are included for many  sizes. The lapghan size shown here can also be made into a warm and snuggly shrug

What you will need:

• 2130 yds (1947m) #3 dk weight yarn in Color A

• 284 yds (259m) #3 dk weight yarn in Color B

• 9mm tunisian crochet hook with cable

• 8mm crochet hook

• Yarn needle

• Scissors

Shown in:  

Be So Baby Yarn; 142 yds per 50g; 100% milk fiber; Color A Salt & Pepper, 15 ball; Color B Charcoal, 2 balls.

Note: Yarn is held tripled thoughout project. Yarn is held doubled for edging and fringe.

Finished Size:

48  in (121.9cm) wide x 36 in (91.4cm) tall, not including fringe.

Pattern Modifications:

• For a 36 in (91.4cm) square baby blanket: Main color 12 balls, contrast color 2 balls.

• For a 48 in x 60 in (122 x 152.4cm) small throw: Main color 26 balls, contrast color 3 balls.
  For a 60 in x 80 in (152.4 x 203.2cm) large throw: Main color 42 balls, contrast color 4 balls

• For a 80 in x 90 in (203.2 x 229cm) queen throw: Main color 61 balls, contrast color 4 balls.
  For a 99 in x 90 in (252.5x229cm) king throw: Main color 76 balls, contrast color 5 balls.
