A narrow strip of knit lace is easily attached to the edge of fabric with strategically placed picked up stitches at the end of each repeat. This is a fantastic opportunity for knitting on fabric to elevate a bandana into a fancy headscarf, a gift wrap for a homemade cake or a set of beautiful lace edged napkins.
This pattern is featured in my book, “80 Handmade Gifts” and also available as a single PDF pattern download here.
