This top down crochet lace vest pattern was originally published in Interweave Crochet Magazine, Fall 2010, and then was released on an episode of Knitting Daily TV when Shay Pendray and I demonstrated it on the show. One of the ladies at my local knit & crochet club made hers in Be So Fine Yarn and it is absolutely gorgeous! It would be very beautiful in both #1 superfine fingering weight yarns and it would also be gorgeous in #2 fine sport weight yarns. And unlike the magazine or TV version, THIS pattern includes charts, too! This top down crochet vest worked in simple double crochet through the raglan shaping and a gorgeous lace stitch pattern for the lower body. The self ties are joined during the edging. The written instructions include multiple sizes and the lace stitch pattern is also written in chart format.
