What you will need:
- 284 yds (260m) #5 bulky weight yarn
- US10.5 (6.5mm) circular knitting needles
- stitch markers (optional)
- scissors
- yarn needle
Shown in:
Knit Picks Wonderfluff Yarn; 70% Baby Alpaca, 7% Merino Wool, 23% Nylon #5 bulky weight yarn; 142 yds (130m) per 1.75 oz (50g) ball; 2 balls color Cosmopolitan.
Gauge:
8 sts / 12 rows = 4 in (10cm) in stitch pattern after blocking. But gauge is not critical for this project. You can make a top down shawl in any weight yarn and simply repeat the pattern for desired length.
Finished Size:
72 in (182.8cm) wide x 31 in (78.7cm) long.
Stitch Guide:
Cast on (CO), bind off (BO), yarn over (yo), knit (k), slip slip knit (ssk), knit 2 together (k2tog), knit into front and back of same stitch (kfb), and purl (p).
