A short sleeved cardigan with a corset tied closure is the chameleon of layering accessories. The Agnes Crochet Cardigan pattern with short sleeves can add modest coverage to a sleeveless under layer. The corset ties can be positioned to create an empire or natural waist, and be cinched as loosely or snugly as you desire. The side vents add extra hip ease and visual interest. What you will need to make this crochet cardigan pattern:

• 900 (1050, 1200, 1400) yds or 823 (960, 1097, 1280)m of #1 superfine, fingering weight yarn

• H/8 (5mm) crochet hook

• Yarn needle

• Scissors

Gauge: 

18 dc = 4 in (10 cm)

10 rows in body pattern = 4.5 in (11.5 cm)

Finished Size:

36.5 (41, 45.25, 49.75) in or 92.7 (104.1, 144.9, 126.4) cm bust

26.5 (27.5, 28.5, 29.5) in or 67.3 (69.9, 72.4, 74.9) cm length
