ACQUA Knit Mobius Cowl Pattern

The Acqua Knit Mobius Cowl Pattern features the simplest of lace patterns: feather and fan, but with a twist. Alternating rows of elongated, twisted drop stitches accentuate the beautiful waves created with gorgeous color stripes. They blend beautifully to portray rippling waves of water.

What you will need:

• 765 yds (675m) #3 dk weight yarn
• US9 (5.5mm) knitting needles
• scissors
• yarn needle

Shown in:

Hobbii Yarn’s Friends Cotton 8/8; 100% cotton, 82 yds (75m) per 1.75oz (50g) ball; shown in colorpack 15: 90 color A, 91 color B,  85 color C, 86 color D, 96 color E, 98 color F, 94 color G, 100 color H, and 01 color I, 1 ball each.

Gauge: 

14 sts / 9 row = 4 in (10cm) in blocked stitch pattern.

Finished Size:

15 in (38.1cm) wide x 48 in (122cm) circumference.

Stitch Guide: 

Cast on (CO), bind off (BO), yarn over (yo), knit 2 together (k2tog), knit (k) and purl (p).

Elongated Twisted Drop Stitch: next st, yo both needles 2 times, yo right needle once, pull loop through and place new stitch on right needle, dropping the extra loops.

Pattern notes: 

Weave in loose ends as work progresses.

Turn work at the end of each row.
