  • sc: single crochet
  • dc: double crochet
  • st: stitch
  • rep: repeat

Taylor Swift Inspired Swift Stripe Free Crochet Pattern Instructions:

multiple of 4 + 1

Ch37 (or any multiple of 4 + 1)

Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook, 1dc in ea of next 2 sts, *ch1, 1dc in ea of next 3 chs. Rep from * across, turn.

Row 2: Ch5 (counts as dc, ch2), skip 2 sts, 3dc in next ch1 sp. *Ch1, 3dc in next ch1 sp. Rep from * across, ch2, skip 2 sts, 1dc in last st, turn.

Row 3: Ch3 (counts as dc), 2dc in ch2 sp, *ch1, 3dc in next ch1 sp. Rep from * across, ch1, 2dc in ch2 sp, 1dc in last st, turn.

Row 4: Ch5 (counts as dc, ch2), skip 2 sts, 3dc in next ch1 sp. *Ch1, 3dc in next ch1 sp. Rep from * across, ch2, skip 2 sts, 1dc in last st, turn.

Swifty Stripe Color Sequence:

Note: Fasten off at the end of each color section.

4 rows color A (peach)

2 rows color B (purple)

1 row color C (brown)

1 row color D (cream)

1 row color C (brown)

1 row color D (cream)

1 row color C (brown)

Repeat the 11 row stripe sequence in rows 3 & 4 of stitch pattern, for desired length.
