Bardot Crochet Headband Free Pattern:
Materials:
- DK weight yarn (~40 yards).
- 3.5mm (E/4) crochet hook.
- Hair elastic (standard size).
- Scissors.
- Yarn needle.
Abbreviations (US Terms):
- ch = chain
- sl st = slip stitch
- sc = single crochet
- dc = double crochet
- tc = treble crochet
- 2-dc cl = 2 double crochet cluster
Instructions:
Attach Yarn to Elastic:
Slipknot onto your hook, insert the hook into the hair elastic, and secure with a slst.
Row 1:
Ch 3 (counts as dc), 14dc in ring. — 15 dcs
Row 2: Ch3 (counts as dc), sc in next st, ch2, skip 2 sts, (dc, ch2, dc) in next st, ch2, sc in next st, ch2, skip 2 sts, (dc, ch2, dc) in next st, ch2, skip 2 sts, sc in next st, dc in last st, turn.
Row 3: Ch4 (counts as tr), tr in next sc, skip next ch2 sp, (2dc-cl, ch1, 2dc-cl, ch1, 2dc-cl) in next ch2 sp, ch1, skip next 2 ch2 sps, (2dc-cl, ch1, 2dc-cl, ch1, 2dc-cl) in next ch2 sp, tr in next sc, tr in last dc, turn.
Row 4: Ch3 (counts as dc), dc in next st, (ch1, dc in next ch1 sp)x5, ch1, 1dc in ea of last 2 trs, turn.
Row 5: Ch3 (counts as dc), 1dc in next dc, 1dc in ea st and ch1 across, turn.
Rows 6 – 29: Rep rows 2 – 5 six more times.
Last row: Working through last row of headband and into opposite end of elastic ring at same time, making sure not to twist headband, sc through both thicknesses in ea st across. Fasten off.
Finishing:
Weave in loose ends. Hand wash, block to finished measurements and allow to dry.

Fasten off and weave in ends.
