Customizable Versatile Crocheted Clothing You Can Make Yourself – By Kristin Omdahl

Once in a while I come up with a pattern that I simply fall head over heels for. The Fernanda Crochet Tank Top / Poncho pattern is just one such piece. Simple and light it can be worn over a tank top, spaghetti strap top, or tube top. It can also be used as a bathing suit beach cover up, or even worn more formally over a sheath dress, paired with skirts, jeans or shorts.

Color, as always, is open to the wearer and creator to choose. I chose Fern Forest Green for a light and airy summer/spring look with a Be So Sporty Yarn.

This pattern is an easy side to side construction top that is made by working flat in just two pieces. The fit is totally customizable so it can be made to wear in any size. Poncho, Tank, and Coverup options are all included in the pattern in the pattern.  The side seams can either be sewn up or laced with ties to offer a more versatile fit.

I have created a video detailing and instructing on all the needed steps for the pattern so that you have exact guidance that you can hit stop and replay as many times as you need in order to match what stitches I am creating.
