What you will need to make the Cinna-Bunny Tapestry Crochet Hat FREE Crocheting Pattern:

What you will need:

• 145 (160, 175) yds 132.6 (146.2, 160m) #3 dk weight yarn

• E/4 (3.5mm) crochet hook

• Yarn needle

• Scissors

Gauge:

20 sts / 24 rounds = 4 in (10cm) in blocked single crochet through back loop only.

Each pattern repeat is 2.5 in (6.4cm) wide.

Finished Size:

Small (Baby): 14 in (35.6cm) circumference x 6 in (15cm) tall

Medium (Child): 16.5 in (42cm) circumference x 7 in (17.8cm) tall

Large (Adult): 18 in (45.7cm) circumference x 8 in (20.3cm)tall

Be So Baby Yarn; 100% milk (casein) fiber; 142 yds (130m) per 1.75oz (50g); shown in Buttercup color A and Platinum color B.

Instructions:

Note: Numbers are for all sizes except when parenthesis are present. Follow the numbers for the size you are making as follows: Small (Medium, Large).

All sizes:

Crown:

With color A, ch5, slst to first st at beg of round to join.

Round 1: Ch1, 10sc in ring, do not join. — 10 sts

Round 2: 2sc-blo in ea st around, do not join. — 20 sts

Round 3: *2sc-blo in next st, 1 sc-blo in next st. Rep from * around, do not join. — 30 sts

Round 4: *2sc-blo in next st, 1sc-blo in ea of next 2 sts. Rep from* around, do not join. — 40 sts

Round 5: *2sc-blo in next st, 1sc-blo in ea of next 3 sts. Rep from * around, do not join. — 50 sts

Round 6: *2sc-blo in next st, 1 sc-blo in ea of next 4 sts. Rep from * around, do not join. — 60 sts

Medium and Large Only:

Round 7: *2sc-blo in next st, 1 sc-blo in ea of next 5 sts. Rep from * around, do not join. — 70 sts

Large Only:

Round 8: *2sc-blo in next st, 1 sc-blo in ea of next 6 sts. Rep from * around, do not join. — 80 sts

Walls:

Round 1: Sc-blo in ea st around. — 60 (70, 80) sts

Rounds 2 – 4 ( 8, 12): Rep round 1.

Note: Tapestry crochet begins on next round. Carry both yarns around, and crochet each stitch in the color specified. When changing from one color to the next, complete the last step of the last stitch with the new color.

Tapestry Section:

Round 1: *3 sc-blo in color A, 1 sc-blo in color B, 3 sc-blo in color A, 1 sc-blo in color B, 3 sc-blo in color A. Rep from * around.

Rounds 2 – 3: Rep round 1.

Round 4: *4 sc-blo in color A, 1 sc-blo in color B, 1 sc-blo in color A, 1 sc-blo in color B, 3 sc-blo in color A. Rep from * around.

Round 5: *4 sc-blo in color A, 3 sc-blo in color B, 3 sc-blo in color A. Rep from * around.

Rounds 6 – 8: * 3sc-blo in color A, 5 sc-blo in color B,  sc-blo in color A. Rep from * around.

Round 9: Rep round 5.

Round 10: Rep round 6.

Rounds 11 – 14: *2 sc-blo in color A, 7 sc-blo in color B, 1 sc-blo in color A. Rep round 6.

Round 15: Rep round 6.

Round 16: Rep round 5.

Rounds 17 – 20: In color A, sc-blo in ea st around.

Fasten off.

Finishing:

Weave in loose ends. Hand wash, block to finished measurements and allow to dry.
