Tender Queen B Fringe Bag Free Crochet Pattern
by Kristin Omdahl
Decadent, chic and wildly bohemian, this super fun and easy bag pattern is sure to please! Make one for yourself and the fashion divas on your gift list this holiday season.
Begin at the base with narrow rows of single crochet, then wrap the body with rounds of double crochet through the back loop only to make adding the fringe incredibly simple.
Adding a pre-made bag, inside-out, for lining takes all the fuss out of lining a bag. Handles are sewn on with yarn in a couple of minutes.
What you will need:
(3) balls of Be So Tender Yarn, shown in denim
(1) Kristin Omdahl organic cotton drawstring project bag (12″ x 12″)
(2) wooden purse handles
H/8 (5mm) crochet hook
Yarn needle
Scissors
#3 DK Weight Yarn
Gauge: 3 sts = 1″, but gauge is not critical for this project

Assembly:
Turn lining bag inside out (so the logo is on the inside and the exposed seams are on the outside). Cut the drawstring ties and remove them from the bag’s flaps. Turn the flaps outward to be folded against the side with the exposed seams.
Insert the lining bag inside the crochet bag. It should line up 1/2″ below the top edge of the crochet bag. Pin in place. With needle and thread, sew in place.
