We all love new clothes and to look stylish. New clothes that we truly love the way they look make us feel good and confident about ourselves. The problem with high end artisan original pieces is usually the cost. These garments take time, effort, creativity, and are made my hand not stitched in bulk by machines which means they retail for far more.
In many cases that can limit the number of them you are able to collect and have in your own wardrobe. I know first hand how hard it can be to come across something in a boutique or at an art show and fall head over heels in love only to read the tag and have it not fit so neatly into your budget. Its frustrating. That, however, can be a strong motivating factor when it comes to crafting and learning skills with which you aren’t dependent on any other artisan.
Learning to crochet or knit may seem a bit overwhelming when you first start, but the thing is – all of these gorgeous pieces are made stitch by stitch.
