Kristin Omdahl Brand Launches Crochet Hook and Tool Set

After 15 years in the craft industry as an author, designer, teacher, TV personality, yarn dyer and manufacturer, I have always been thinking about and researching for the perfect crochet hook and tool set. I am so excited to announce the launch of my brand new, aluminum and bamboo 11 piece crochet hook set that comes with a well rounded tool kit and bag. I thought a lot about what I believe is important to have in a crochet tool kit and chose these tools carefully. As a collection, for your every day crafting, everything you will need is here. When I first learned to crochet, this would have been a fabulous gift to receive as well! So whether you are a new crocheter or a seasoned veteran crocheter, I think this would make a fabulous gift.

Why Aluminum and Bamboo Crochet Hooks?

The 11 piece crochet hook set is tapered aluminum hooks with bamboo handles. The aluminum hooks are very smooth and will glide over your yarn smoothly. I chose aluminum crochet hooks because I prefer this finish for their speed. The bamboo handles are a wonderful addition to the aluminum crochet hooks because the bamboo is heat absorbent and will warm up as you work, which is soothing to your hands and joints. The larger handle is also easier on your hands as you crochet. This is especially helpful for those who suffer from arthritis and carpel tunnel syndrome.

The Crochet Hook and Tool Set includes: 11 crochet hooks ranging in size from B/1 (2.0mm) to L/11 (8.0mm), sharp craft scissors with protective cover, bent tip yarn needle, needle threader, tape measure. 1 set of color coded locking stitch markers, and 1 mesh, zipper storage bag that fits the entire collection.
