Yarn on the Beach Live Video Podcast Episode 211 with Kristin Omdahl was live stream broadcast at Vanderbilt Beach, Naples, Florida on August 23, 2018. Today I wore a brand new crochet sun hat pattern Serena featuring Be So Fresh Yarn, and wore the Sporty Luna shrug pattern as a ribbon/sash around the hat. I wore a couple of amazon outfits for the photoshoot I did before we started the podcast so I can release the patterns and videos later today for Serena Crochet Floppy SunHat. New lipstick alert! Mac Candy Yum Yum liner and Mac Matte Lavender Jade lipstick.
Today I continued working on nesting baskets for the new book with a set of double pointed knitting needles. We had lots of great questions today, including: designer vs maker, giving permission to sell items with my patterns, hat designing and styling and a discussion on designing a visor. Talked about working on the gift book with jewelry and food updates. We saw a beach bunny briefly and I was reminded to bring glasses for a hat & glasses demo tomorrow.
