1. What is One Fashion rule you never break?
Always, always, always be yourself.
2. What interests you in Casual Wear?
I love boho style. I am a knit and crochet designer who absolutely adores the organic flow of handmade clothing. I spent a lot of time curating the most beautiful yarns to fit my aesthetic for my designs. Layering is my favorite go-to for styling because it makes my personal style aesthetic more inclusive to a wider range of sizes. Long and short, tough and soft, bold and neutral; contrast is what I love the most about layering.
3. What styling advice would you give to your younger self??
Be bold, be brave and don’t worry what anyone else thinks of you. It is none of your business what they think of you anyway.
4. How would you describe a perfect Casual Wear look and is there a person who is an inspiration to you for this?
I love the contrast of denim and feminine flow and drape. Whether it is a handmade crochet or knit lace tank, tunic or dress, I love to layer with a denim cropped vest or jacket with the sleeves rolled up. I love contrast of rough to soft. So I might pair this with metallic gladiator sandals and a flower in my hair.
My style is inspired by beachy icons like Farrah Fawcett and pinup icons like Marilyn Monroe. I think the bohemian vibe and feminine pin up vibe blend together beautifully.
5. One tip you would like to give to our readers?
Shop smart, don’t be afraid to be creative, and when given the chance, make something. I think it is so empowering to make my own accessories and style them in my own unique style.

That pattern was exclusively designed for a magazine. I don’t have the rights to it right now.
