How to Join Kristin LIVE for Yarn on the Beach Sunrise Video Podcast Vlog
Yarn On The Beach is a video podcast vlog that I live stream Monday through Saturday at sunrise on the beach. If you join me live, you can talk with me, interact with other members of the audience, and even ask questions! You can enjoy the sunrise, the beach, the wildlife and the conversation. I also do demos and tutorials when time permits.
For the first 65 episodes, I did the live stream on my YouTube Channel, and when each live broadcast ends, it is converted into a recorded video you could watch at any time. Two weeks ago, a glitch developed and I have been bumped off at the 15 second mark every time I attempt to live stream on YouTube. In an effort to continue the awesomely fun video podcast vlog, I moved to my Facebook Page to live stream there for the time being. Each day, I then upload the recorded videos to both my Facebook page and YouTube Channel for anyone who wishes to watch at any time.
I don’t know where I will be live streaming in the future. But I do know that I will continue live streaming Yarn On The Beach sunrise video podcast vlog. I enjoy sharing my little slice of heaven so much, and I love the community and friends we have created so far. The best way to help you find me while I am patiently waiting for YouTube to solve the problem, is to share with you how to sign up for live notifications from me on both platforms.

How to turn on live notifications on Kristin Omdahl’s Facebook Page:
To change live video notifications:
- Click in the top right and select Settings.
- Select Notifications on the left.
- Click On Facebook.
- Scroll down to Live Videos to change your live video notification settings.
To change the live video notifications that you receive from a Facebook Page:
- Go to the Kristin Omdahl Page
- Click Following.
- Click next to Notifications.
- Select All Live Posts to be notified whenever that Page goes live, Suggested to receive no more than 3 live video notifications a day from this Page or Off for Live to receive no notifications about live videos from this Page.
How to turn on live notifications on Kristin Omdahl’s YouTube Channel:
- Go to the Kristin Omdahl YouTube Channel
- If you’re not subscribed, click the Subscribe button.
- Click the bell icon.
- A dialog box will appear, allowing you to select to receive All notifications.
- You can also modify how you’re notified by visiting Manage settings.
