How to Crochet Flower Hair Pin Step by Step for Beginners Free Pattern & Video

What you will need:
50 yds (m) sport weight yarn
(1) ball Be So Sporty Yarn, shown in Passionate Plum
F/5 (3.75mm) crochet hook
Hair pin
Yarn needle
Scissors
Gauge: not critical for this project, but adjusting your hook size and changing the weight of your yarn can alter the size of the flower very much. They are so versatile in many sizes. Make a small one for a girl, a medium one for a woman or a really large one for a purse embellishment!
Finished size: flower is 3″ diameter
Instructions:
Ch5, slst to 5th ch from hook to form ring.
Round 1: ch1, sc, hdc, 6dc in ring. — 8 sts
Round 2: 2dc-tbl in ea st around. — 16 sts
Round 3: *2dc-tbl in next st, 1dc-tbl in next st. Rep from * around. — 24 sts
Round 4: ch3, turn, 6dc in first st, *skip next st, sc in next st, skip next st, 7dc in next st. Rep from around all of round 3 and continue to work around rounds 2 and 1 working in the free loops of ea st as you go.
Fasten off. Weave in loose ends.
Insert hair pin into center of flower.
