How to Knit Serpentine Scalloped Lace Edging Knit Pattern by Kristin Omdahl
This is a beautiful, unique and interesting knit lace edging technique. It can be worked onto live stitches and you only need a multiple of 5 stitches for it. It can be tricky to get the hang of it, but that’s why I made a video to show you how!
Here is a simple lace shawl pattern (garter stitch, top down with eyelet increases) and as long as you end with a multiple of 5 sts, you can create this magnificent lace edging. (P.S. if you don’t have exactly 5 sts, its easy to fudge and I won’t tell anyone!) It features Be So Fine Yarn in hand dyed colorway Iced Silver Fox. This entire shawl is only a one-skein project!
