Brave Brioche Knit Headband Earwarmer FREE Pattern
by Kristin Omdahl
If you haven’t tried brioche knitting before, you are in for a treat! Small projects are a wonderful way to try a new technique. Brioche stitch is magical – it seems like its going to create a complicated stitch texture, when it really creates a super sized ribbing. The depth and loft created are what makes it super sized, and honestly I couldn’t think of a cozier or warmer texture for an earwarmer headband! For those of you who are messy bun hat fans, this is PERFECT for pony tails, braids and messy buns (and a lot cuter, too!)

Thank you for the pattern. I begin brioche knitting from here. I have a question for the pattern. Yo before slipprd stitch? Or slipped stitch before yo?
It’s yarn over before the slip stitch, but it will look the opposite. Watch the video I made for this project – I think it will help you a lot 🙂
