Baby Waves Crochet Afghan FREE Pattern: 4-Color Chevron Crochet Afghan
by Kristin Omdahl
Afghans are hands-down my favorite gift to give someone. My cousin is pregnant with her first child right now and I wanted to make her a special blanket, large enough for baby and mama. I waited to begin until she finalized the colors of the nursery. She chose yellow, white, gray and teal. You could easily make this any combinations of colors, 2, 3, 4, or even make it a scrap yarn project. I would love to make one for my bed in a solid color next.

This is lovely. What if I don’t want to make it so big? What’s the stitch count? Thanks!!
Hello and thank you for sharing this pattern. Would you mind providing the stitch count so I can adjust the size please. Sometimes I can figure it out very easily, but chevrons can throw me off sometimes. Thanks so much!
The pattern repeat is a multiple of 12 + 3.
Thanks so much! It’s good to know I’m getting better at figuring out chevron repeats correctly. I can’t wait to try this pattern.
Wonderful!
