Million Dollar Red Beaded Crochet Lampshade FREE Pattern by Kristin Omdahl

If you can crochet in the round, you can make so many things beyond hats and cowls. In this pattern, I will show you how to decorate an otherwise plain lampshade with a beautiful crochet stitch pattern. And, show you how to add a simple beaded edging to the bottom.

Million Dollar Red Beaded Crochet Lampshade FREE Pattern by Kristin Omdahl

Materials:

(1) hank Be So Fine Yarn; #1 fingering weight; 100% bamboo; 650 yds (597m) per 4oz (113g); color Million Dollar Red
H/8 (5mm) crochet hook
Yarn needle
Beading needle
(75) 6mm fire polish beads

#1 Fingering Weight Yarn

Be So Fine Yarn

Gauge: each pattern repeat is 3” wide after blocking

Finished size:
45” circumference around lampshade

NOTE: one hank of yarn is plenty to make 2 lampshades at this size.

NOTE: This pattern can be easily modified to fit any lampshade. Measure around the circumference at the widest part. This is the circumference you need for your tube. At the end, we cinch up the top to be narrower so it rests over the lampshade.
