My first book, “Wrapped In Crochet”, featured the Stella Circular Crochet Shawl Pattern on the front cover. It was originally made with a bulky weight merino/alpaca blend yarn and took 8 skeins to make it. The patterns are now available for digital download individually.
Recently, I was flipping through my books and thinking of projects I would like to re-create with my yarns, and Stella Circular Crochet Shawl Pattern came first to my mind. I wondered what it would look and feel like in Be So Fine Yarn, fingering weight, 100% bamboo. Plus, I wondered if 650 yards would be enough to make the original shawl.
Tada! Here is my lacier version of the Stella Shawl, using only one skein of Kristin Omdahl Yarns Be So Fine Yarn in one of the 17 brand new, hand dyed color ways: Parisian Bordeaux.
