How to Make THREE Easy and Quick Crochet Garland Free Video and Pattern by Kristin Omdahl

Made from only chain and slip stitch, these garlands couldn’t be easier. Follow along the video, read the charts and follow along with the written instructions below to make these super simple decorations for your Christmas tree or any other type of crochet embellishment. It would also be a cute necklace/scarf with embellished or novelty yarn!

Use any size yarn and appropriately sized crochet hook.

The garland shown in the photos is made with Be So Scrubbi Yarn and G/6 (4mm) crochet hook.

The garland shown in the video is made with Be So Easy yarn and L/11 (8mm) crochet hook.

Garland #1 Instructions:

Row 1: Ch10, *ch5, slst in 5th ch from hook, ch10. Repeat from * for desired length. Fasten off.

Garland #2 Instructions:

Row 1: Ch10, *(ch5, slst in 5th ch from hook)x3, slst in first slst, ch10. Repeat from * for desired length. Fasten off.

Garland #3 Instructions:

Garland #3 Instructions: Ch10, *(ch10, slst in 5th ch from hook, ch5, skip next 4 chs, slst in next ch)x3, slst in first ch. Rep from * for desired length, ch10. Fasten off.
