How to Crochet Easy Seamless Mobius Cowl Video Tutorial and Free Pattern by Kristin Omdahl
The Rio Mobius Cowl is a super easy crochet project. It uses one skein of Kristin Omdahl Yarn’s Be So Sporty Yarn (shown in Jaded Peacock) and an H/8 (5mm) crochet hook.

#2 Sport Weight Yarn
Materials:
H/8 crochet hook
1 skein Be So Sporty Yarn: (100% bamboo, 325 yds per 4oz skein, color Jaded Peacock)
Yarn needle
Scissors
Gauge: 3 sts/2 rows = 1” in pattern after blocking
Finished size: 12” tall x 26” circumference (after blocking)
Abbreviations: ch (chain); sc (single crochet); dc (double crochet);
Instructions:
Mobius:
Set up round: *Ch3, dc in 3rd ch from hook. Rep from * 29 more times, join in a round making
sure to twist set up round one time.
Round 1: slst into first ch3 sp, ch3 (counts as dc), 2dc in same sp. *3dc in next ch3 sp. Rep
from * 28 more times. Working in underside of same ch3 sps, work 3dc in ea of next 30 ch3
sps, slst to first ch3 sp at beg of round to join. — 60 3dc sections
NOTE: each round will now be worked in a figure 8 configuration, working outward from the
center to the top and bottom as you go.
Round 2: slst into next (center) dc, ch3 (counts as dc), 2dc in same st, *skip 2 sts, 3dc in next
center st. Rep from * around, slst to top of first ch3 at beg of round to join. — 60 3dc sections.
Rounds 3 – : rep round 2
Edging: slst into next st, ch3 (counts as dc), work 6dc in same st, skip 2 sts, sc in next st, *skip
2 sts, 7dc in next st, skip 2 sts, sc in next st. Rep from * around, slst to top of ch3 at beg of
round to join. Fasten off. Weave in loose ends. Wash, block to finished measurements and let
dry.
